Background

At times I read through books like drinking water. For personal amusement (of observing patterns), I maintain several abbreviated lists of the few literary texts that, over the years, I have found highly insightful, worth holding onto, and worth an additional read. No text in this list can rival an accurate translation of the Holy Bible. But, perhaps they each possess a unique source of inspiration. Any texts marked with an "X" or crossed-out are those I now, years later, suspect of "counterfeit" insightfulness, and may no longer recommend to others.
