To manage the software versions and applications I use most, I've created a significant number of unofficial Gentoo ebuilds. This simple overlay is publicly available via Subversion at:

https://tstotts.net/pubvc/overlay_1

Most of the ebuilds are simply modified from the official portage tree for one of the following purposes.

• add or remove software patches for an application/library
• use custom configurations due to official ebuild's missing/inadequate USE flags
• install an application/library version not in the official portage tree or common overlays
• hack the x86 application into working on PPC

Some ebuilds are not publicly accessible due to various legalities, and are stored in a separate overlay.
