E-mail Addressess Omitted | <<< index of Contact |
My apologies for the inconvenience of displaying contact addresses as images rather than plain text. You will not be able to copy-and-paste an address, nor click the address to begin composing a message. Instead, you will need to read an address from the web page and carefully type it into your E-mail program.
The purpose of displaying the addresses as warped images is to avoid spam E-mail. A lot E-mail address are discovered and cataloged by spammers simply by using a few software programs to search web pages on the Internet. I dare say that automating the collection of such information appears a trivial exercise for any well-rounded programmer. (Of course, I have never actually engaged in this particular activity.) The only effective ways of preventing such abuse are to display addresses as distorted images, obfuscate address text in a unique manner, or not display any addresses at all. Even normal images of text characters are inadequate as OCR technology can be used to convert the images back to text.
If you are technically inclined, you can extract my E-mail addresses from my public PGP key: 8028D20B.
If you are blind, vision impaired, or are viewing this page with a text-only browser, you may send me an E-mail to any made-up address at this domain: tstotts.net. Be sure to include a subject line that is a meaningful, short, correctly spelled, perfect English grammar sentence. Then I will be very likely to notice your E-mail quickly, even if my E-mail system should identify it as spam. Thanks.
