The site statistics now include some additional miscellanea, including browser screen sizes and installed browser plugins (Adobe Acrobat Reader, etc.). These additional statistics are made available by some JavaScript code that is included at the end of every XHTML document, just before the closing </body> tag.

[AWStats Logo] Version 6.9 of the open source AWStats project has been installed to generate statistics for this domain: tstotts.net. Hopefully, over time, it will provide some interesting information. Unfortunately, the web server (apache) log format was originally set to "common" rather than "combined", and had to be changed. This causes the statistics to reset and start today, September 19, 2009. View the statistics.

Working commenting support has at last been added to the blog.

For the curious, the minimalistic PHP software used to facilitate the commenting is blogkomm with some significant modifications, including support for valid XHTML 1.1.

For the interested, tstotts-dot-net is hosting two new services: domain email/chat and a Bible-reading chat bot. The domain email and chat are now hosted by Google with their famous GMail service. Accounts are available for personal friends and family who would like an address at this domain.

Also, an automated Jabber/Google Talk instant messaging bible robot can be contacted at bible@tstotts.us. Just IM the bot the keyword "help" without quotes to get started. More than forty (40) SWORD texts are installed for your quick referencing.

There's a nifty CLI blogging application called NanoBlogger, over at SourgeForge, now to power this section of the web site. I had really wanted a CLI blogger that used pure XSLT, but NanoBlogger's generated HTML was close enough, and I compromised with a merge of the two methods.
