Copyright pains
One of the more tedious aspects of web design is the management of copyrights, trademarks, and licenses. For example, this web site, tstotts dot net is under a classic view-but-do-not-copy copyright, just as are most books. But the page Gentoo on a Powerbook contains Linux kernel patches, which are obviously distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). Managing the notices for each item of content is a most disagreeable chore.

A Blog is Born
There's a nifty CLI blogging application called NanoBlogger, over at SourgeForge, now to power this section of the web site. I had really wanted a CLI blogger that used pure XSLT, but NanoBlogger's generated HTML was close enough, and I compromised with a merge of the two methods.
